Part of the fun of a trip to Walt Disney World is the planning, the anticipation, the excitement – the countdown.
When the kids were little, including them in the countdown was part of the fun.
And then, for two Disney trips in a row, we surprised our boys with a vacation at Walt Disney World, so the only countdown calendar I had was on my personal calendar.
The very next trip to Walt Disney World, we told the boys about 111 days out and they asked, “How are we going to countdown to our trip this time?”
This time?
What To Do When You’re Not Very Crafty
I was going to do the standard decorated paper ring chain that we did last time. But I’ve done that too many times before. My boys were not impressed. They were a little disappointed in my lack of creativity.
I’d love to say that I’m Martha Stewart’s long lost twin, but alas, I am not. So, I turned to the internet for inspiration. There are some wonderful fans out there that have great printable items and ideas for your own countdown calendar. I’ve gathered them in one place for your one-stop-shop enjoyment.
