How It All Works
Disney Rotational Dining on Disney Cruise Line is an opportunity for you to experience all three of the main dining opportunities offered. But how does it all work?
Each Disney cruise ship has 3 main dining rooms that each guest has the chance to experience. These restaurants are included with your cruise price. Other signature dining experiences are available for an extra fee – for example Palo on all four Disney Cruise ships or Remy located on the Dream and Fantasy.
No Guesswork Necessary
Each ship has the following dining venues:
- Dream: Animator’s Palate, Enchanted Garden, Royal Court
- Fantasy: Animator’s Palate, Enchanted Garden, Royal Palace
- Magic: Animator’s Palate, Lumiere’s, Rapunzel’s Royal Table
- Wonder: Animator’s Palate, Tiana’s Place, Triton’s
My daughter loves to study the menus so she knows exactly what she’ll be eating that evening. Each day she simply checked the menu option on her Disney Cruise App so she didn’t have to waste time deciding when we sat down.
For Starters
At check-in, you will receive a Key To The World card. On it will be a variety of information that you need during your voyage, including your dining rotation schedule. It will list your seating time (either 5:45 pm or 8:15 pm) and the order in which you will visit each dining room.
For example, if the letters in the last line read AERA, your dining rotation is Animator’s Palate, Enchanted Garden, Royal Court and on your last night, Animator’s Palate again.
The Disney Touch
One of my favorite features of Disney’s rotational dining is the service team. They stay with you for your entire voyage. Following you from dining room to dining room they get to know your preferences. They anticipate your needs. Your children’s needs. If there are food allergies or drink preferences, they know. If you love a coke waiting for you or if you want your children drinking milk or water for dinner, they know. They’ll suggest wine pairings. Tell you their favorite items or just what looks good this evening. They take the guesswork out of every meal. It’s heavenly.
In Short
In short, Disney rotational dining is a carefree way to enjoy all three main dining experiences with as little guesswork as possible. We love our Disney cruise vacations. They’re relaxing in a Disney atmosphere.
And it makes for a very yummy vacation!
