Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party – Is it worth the extra expense?
Now, you probably already know how I’m going to answer this question, Disney nut that I am. But hear me out. I have good reason to tell you it’s worth it. I promise!
It’s All About Timing
Depending on when you go, the tickets can be as “low” as $79. That sure beats the premium rate of $135 on Halloween night. Plus, with your ticket, you may enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm. That’s three hours before the party officially begins.
And speaking of timing, if you’re traveling with children, how old are they?
We took the boys when they were 2 and 3. Not really worth it, in my opinion. They were up too late. They didn’t “get” all of the hoopla. And they fell asleep in their strollers an hour in. But our daughter, at age 8, had a blast. From about that age and up, just about everyone will find something that tickles their scary bone.
It’s All About Treats
There are special souvenirs that are only sold during the party. There is free candy for anyone who wants to trick-or-treat. There are special menu items and treat stands. Treats around every corner!
It’s All About The Show
I’m more of a ride person. I like to take advantage of the shorter lines while everyone else is watching the parade. But one year my daughter begged to sit and wait for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. I begrudgingly agreed. And I’m so glad I did! It was so fun. So entertaining. And the perfect way to usher in the Halloween season. I highly recommend setting aside some time to enjoy the Boo To You Halloween parade, the special fireworks or any of the shows. After all, it’s a Halloween Party!
Celebrating Halloween with Mickey is a great way to start or end your Halloween fun!
